STORIES COUNT workshops and programs currently available or planned include:

• STORIES COUNT (General Program)
  The STORIES COUNT approach to Math and Logic brings new life to traditional topics.

• Making Sense of Mathematics: Communicating the Meaning of Math, Logic, and Quantitative Studies
  This program for educators helps teachers learn how to communicate mathematical, logical, and quantitative topics to students, how to help students understand and structure quantitative problems in context, and how to construct and manage projects to develop students’ quantitative literacy. Participants may be eligible to earn 1 to 3 graduate credit hours from Chapman University when the course is taken through Advanced Strategies for Professional Development.

• STORIES COUNT for Business Today
  The STORIES COUNT approach introduces concepts and techniques that are essential for success in business today.

• Critical Thinking/Critical Decisions
  Narrative approaches provide ideas, tools, and techniques that will help you generate alternatives and make choices.

• Personal Risk Management
  Learn to manage your actions and their outcomes in today’s uncertain world by applying techniques of risk management that have been developed and used in the world of business. I'll show you how, with a tale you’ll never forget.

• Managing the Project of Your Life
  Many of the world's greatest stories can be understood as projects gone wrong. In this program, classic narratives will introduce you to all the fundamentals of professional project management  so that you can learn how to apply them to your most important project ever—you.

• Comparison Shopping
  Narratives get you going as you learn how to compare products and prices and how to evaluate other questions that affect your purchasing choices and decisions.

• Medical Math
  Get comfortable with the math behind the medicine. Stories introduce you to the calculations, probabilities, and statistics that can help you understand how to evaluate the results of your medical tests, choose treatments, and manage your medications.
